    With a Masters degree in Quality Management within food businesses, Masters degree in Food Technology and a Diploma in Human Nutrition, my near 10 years of experience has been developed across the world while working as a consultant, food technologist, quality manager and currently as a food safety certification manager in, so far, four countries (Spain, Ireland, USA, and the UK). With this diverse expertise, my motivation and challenges have been always focused on helping food companies to develop and create a system that complies with and exceedsthe standard requirements and customer needs.

     

    Talk Title “Changes in FSSC 22000 standard and Food Defence requirements”

    From September 11th the importance of the implementation of a food defence system became more important for all, food manufacturing, retailers and specially the consumers! The latest versions of internationally recognised food safety standards are now increasing its requirements with regard to this subject. The changes of FSSC 22000 certification and the importance of a food defence plan will be discussed along with some other new requirements.
